About Steve Urie

Steve has been a resident of Gilbert Arizona for 26 years & has been married to the former Renae Ricks of Mesa for 33 years, they have four children, Russell, Stephanie, Lorraine, & Jamison. In February of this year, they added a son-in-law, Dr. Jason Alder.

Steve Urie is the president and designated broker of Mesa Verde Property Management, Inc. He has been a small businessman for 25 years.

In 2003, Steve was selected as the REALTOR of the year from among the agents and brokers of the 12th largest REALTOR Board in the nation. Steve is also an owner of a real estate school and is a real estate instructor of continuing education. His firm is a member of the Gilbert Chamber of Commerce and the Gilbert Small Business Alliance.

He served 11 years on the Gilbert Town Council before resigning to run for the state legislature. Steve has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management with emphasis in Marketing and Finance from Brigham Young University (1979) and an MBA in Management Information Systems from the University of Arizona (1982). He also holds the professional property management RMP and MPM designations, as well as, the GRI and ABR designations.
